Would you like to try a combo?

I'll take Combos # 4 and #5.

P.S. I am a habitual procrastinator

Day 4: Your Parents

My parents. Hmm. Married for 20 years, divorced. Picture perfect childhood, very realistic young adulthood.

Dad
I'll start with my Dad. Up until I was 18 or so I was  Daddy's girl. He was my best friend, I wanted to be just like him. After the divorce, life changed. I was in college, dad had a new life, my sister and I weren't in it very much anymore. I was heartbroken.

Present Day, my relationship with my dad is good I guess. I talk to him every few months, I try to see him when I am in Houston. Everytime I see him or hear his voice I just want to break down and cry because I miss who he use to be. (as I am bursting into tears right now...) But my dad is a good man, he is caring and witty, and he works hard. He always taught me that things in life do not come easy, and if you want something you have work to make it happen. Isn't that the truth.

Mom
Growing up I never had the typical mother-daughter relationship. I was always trying to just keep under the radar because I felt like I could never do anything right. She was very harsh with me, criticized everything. But that is neither here nor there, after the divorce she became a different person too. She was more approachable, we became closer and started trusting each other.

Present Day, my mom is an amazing woman. Our relationship is what a mother-daughter relationship should be. I am at a loss of words for her, I am just so happy that the past 5 or 6 years we have developed a bond that cannot be broken.

With all that being said, I love my parents more than anything in this world. They gave me life, raised me to know right from wrong, and taught me to reach for the stars.

I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

Me, Dad, and Jaclyn (my sister) a few days before Jaclyn's wedding

Day 5: Your Siblings

I have only one biological sibling and that would be the beautiful and talented Jaclyn Rae Thomas Busa (pictured above)

Jaclyn Rae Thomas Busa (HAHA-I know you dropped 'Thomas' but its fun to see your name that long!) My baby sister. She is the most incredible human being I have ever known. Without her, my life wouldn't make sense. We are so similiar yet so different! Its insane! We sound just alike on the phone, we have the same smile, same color eyes, we even share the same 'control freak' mentality. I tell her everything. I always feel the need to take care of her even though I know I don't need to. If I could give her the world, I would.  I am her #1 fan! She give the best hugs in the world! She brings me back down to earth. But I swear, she is Martha Stuarts biggest competitor. I mean my sis does it all! Crafty beyond belief, a great baker and cook, multi talened business woman and all at the age of 22...TAKE THAT MARTHA!

Now here are two people who are as close as sisters as you can get without being biologically related.
*this is a hard subject, because I have been blessed with 2 best friends in this life time*

Rachael Elizabeth Blanton Cherry and Jessica Ann Slade

Jessica and I go back to the days of the womb. Best Friends since brith! No matter how long we drift apart, we always find our way back to each other =) ! Now that I live 1500 miles away, I think I bug her way too much on Skype. I LOVE YOU JESS!!! YOU ARE IRREPLACEABLE!

My Rache, you should have been my first love!! lol Inseperable since kindergarden. We have been through everything imaginable and back, together. We are solid, we have a bond that will never be broken, and I believe God put us on the same block for a reason! My sister from a different mister...HAHAHHAHA
20 years girl, here is to the next 100! I love you with all of my heart!

This will conclude the combo for tonight. Goodnight. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite!
